We’ve spent the past weeks doing a major build-out across the app: sharper story quality, more consistent illustration styles, and a smoother reading experience from start to finish.

We did this by improving how we talk to our AI models and switching to newer, faster engines, which means better books, more quickly. The feedback from families has been immediate and enthusiastic.

We’re also evaluating our next generation image engine, which looks set to deliver another meaningful jump in quality.

Every week you use Tandem, you’ll now receive a personalised Reading Week infographic: which themes your child keeps coming back to, the longest words they’ve encountered, their favourite characters, and how many words you’ve read together.

It’s a window into how connection-first technology actually builds skills, and a wonderful keepsake of your time together.
