Three bits of news from us. 

Tandem has been certified by the Educational App Store, with 5 out of 5. They're teachers who review apps independently. Here’s what they had to say about us:  
"Tandem stands out as a well-rounded early learning app that successfully combines storytelling, personalisation, and family interaction."  

We're also really pleased that they also noted that we’re "privacy-focused and completely ad-free".

Al and I have been shortlisted for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, for Equity-Backed Entrepreneur of the Year. The final is 16th November 2026. I'll let you know how it goes.

Finally, I've been writing a weekly Substack since August: Little people, big tech. So far, I’ve covered everything from the difference between chatbots and agents, to how AI is already affecting millions of children’s lives, to if and how we should talk to our kids about AI risk.
